WISCONSIN DEEP-FRIED CHEESE CURDS

Ingredients:
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
2/3 eggs, beaten
2 2/3 tablespoons of Wisconsin milk
5 ounces of Wisconsin Cheddar cheese curds
1 1/3 cups of oil for frying
Cooking Directions:
In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder,
and salt. Stir in the eggs and milk. Mix until smooth. Add
more milk for a thinner batter. Coat Wisconsin Cheddar cheese
curds with the batter.
Heat the oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium heat. Fry
the coated cheese curds approximately 1 minute each, until
golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
